I have just finished reading Straits Times for anyone who like to know that.Anyway,here's some news of the week.Please bear with me.Do not,I repeat,do not,skip over the following words to the last line!Here are some juicy news[according to my own standard]
Do you know that 37%of the blogs are written in Japanese while 36%are in English leaving only8%in Mandarin and the rest in other languages?!It's an amazing fact considering the fact that English-speakers outnumbered Japanese-speakers 5:1.I'm not kidding you.
The report continues to blabber on to say that usually the ones who blog in English are most likely to blog for fame ,suggesting one exaggerates stuff,while the ones that blog in Japanese usually doesn't seeks fame.They prefer to be low-key.
Anyway,I have also read an article by a former sub-editor of Straits Times who is now currently studying Japanese in Kyoto.It interest me that she/he[not sure] takes JLPT1 immediately,without considering2 3 and 4.It is to help her to save money.She must have been really smart to be able to perform such a feat!Really!
For your information,JLPT is Japanese Language Proficiency Test which measures non-natives'[of Japanese Language] proficiency in Japanese.Level 4 is the easiest while Level 1 is the toughest.
You should have heard my constant rants of failing JLPT2 by now.Elena definitely is the wiser person.There goes my $28 registration fees!Sometimes I hate myself for not being able to comprehend what one is conversing in Japanese.I have to have the aid of words before I really understand what they are talking about.It is a sad but true story for me.Sigh.
