Well,today for me,it wasn't as good as I've thought to be.I've flunked my Japanese oral-or maybe not.I'm just exaggerating. Anyway,my examinor was Tan sensei.For the benefit of anyone who doesn't know him,he is actually my brother's teacher.
The mundane story of mine goes on like this.I went to MOELC with Elena.After some apprehension,it was finally my turn to take the oral.As everyone has expected,the reading passage is packed with numerous difficult words that are hard to comprehend.The conversation was basically fine,though I've a nagging suspicion that I have misused some vocabulary.Then,the worst part finally came.It was when Tan sensei asked me a potent question.
I can still remember the "poignant "part when I truly didn't understand what he was talking about.I only managed to catch some words like do you have the experience of secondary school.Then I thought that it was about Chinese.However,neither Chinese nor secondary school fits the sentence,so I was stumped.
Hence,I have no choice,but to tell the two teachers who are present that I didn't understand the question.The female teacher then asked me two more questions before the oral is over.I have a bad time watching Tan sensei scribbling down comments ,probably bad ones,about me.
Guess what?The very instant when I left the room,I recalled and fully understand the question that had bugged me.It was about whether I had the experience of going to China before!To think that I've actually mistaken it for Chinese and secondary school respectively.
I'm really pissed off with myself. Hence I was even mumbling when I get off the bus.This action of mine arouse curious stares from others and I felt that my skin was literally burning from the over-scorching view of others.
