I'll be having my O-Level Oral next Monday and the bad thing is -I haven't actually started preparing for it.Sigh.Today,our English teacher give us an oral practice.She told me that I'm basically fine for the picture discussion and the conversation part.The bad thing is,she told me that my reading is really very bad.I've got only 4 out of 12 marks!
Naturally,my heart sank.Though I've thought that I've given my best,the notion of failing my reading didn't occur to me.It was dismal.Wat was I going to do next Monday?!I certainly didn't want to embarrass myself in front of the examiner!
Also there's one thing that I haven't inform you yet-our teacher recorded down our voices.It's only until next Monday before I know exactly what's wrong with my reading .This is because she will let us listen to our oral practises in class.
However,by then,I'm afraid to say that it'll be far too late.I really don't think that I can perform miracles right on the spot.Hence,I've decided to record down my voice when I read a passage tonight. Hopefully,I'll be able to figure out why I'm ludicrous at reading-without the "elucidation"of my brother.
